Kat spotted <a href="http://katnchina.blogspot.com/2002_10_20_katnchina_archive.html#83283165">Axl Rose in China</a>.  Apparently, Guns'N'Roses played the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center in August as the opening concert of their <a class="performance" href="http://www.gnronline.com/press3front.html">Chinese Democracy World Tour</a>.

--Rereading the <a href="http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~takoyaki/archive/200210.html#p19">description of my bookshelf</a> from October 19, I get the feeling that I could expand my experience obtaining and reading each book into an entire daily entry.  I think it's great how every book has an entire story behind it.

--I was getting a lot more referrals from Weblogs.com when I reported my site's name as <span class="book">Cut Me Out</span>.  The current <span class="book">China, California, Books</span> has been an utter failure in that respect.

--<a href="http://t-salon.blogspot.com/">T-Salon</a> believes that <a href="http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=china">Google's China news</a> is better than Brand Recon's <a href="http://www.brandrecon.com/newspage.html">Moreover.com</a> service.  While Google may have more comprehensive coverage of the top stories, their weakness is that they cover only the most popular items.  Gems like the following are only found on on the more broad Moreover.com feed.
