Like California, China is fighting <a href="http://news.sina.com.cn/view/hnhydhsk/index.html">its own fires</a> right now in Hunan.  My condolences go out to the families of the <a href="http://news.sina.com.cn/c/2003-11-07/01101071034s.shtml">brave firemen who gave their lives</a> to keep others safe.
