So the word on the Chinese blog scene is that a celebrity from Guangdong named Mu Zimei was quoted in an article as having a weblog. Mu Zimei is so famous, that a single mention of the word weblog in connection with her name sent millions (ok, I exaggerate) of people to their computers to find out what's the deal with weblogs. Ever since then, BlogCN has been either down or returning a "sorry, busy!" message. What's up with that? Ah, here's a good explanation from our man in Beijing, danwei.org. --Update: more info on Mu Zimei at Xinhuanet (Chinese).
